What is altitude sickness?

Denver's nickname is the "Mile-High City", as its official elevation is one mile (5,280 ft) above sea level. The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs is slightly higher at 6,035ft. People traveling to higher elevation may experience altitude sickness, resulting in headaches, nausea, fatigue, and shortness of breath. To help your body acclimate, try these tips: -Drink extra water starting 2 days before your trip -Stay hydrated! We recommend loading up on liquid I.V. -If possible, arrive a few days prior to December 5th -Pick up a Boost Oxygen container
